In this paper, we employ the beam from the multimode laser diode (LD) for irradiation, which includes the intensity modulation due to the opticcal beat, and the electromagnetic radiation from a gunn oscillator (50.3 GHz) to be incident on the photoconductive antenna. Using an electric spectrum analyzer and a Lock-in amplifier we detect the ac signal which can be assigned to the ac current of the frequency |f1-f2| and the dc signal which may be assigned to the thermoelectromotive effect or the rectification effect in the photoconductive antena. The status of the intensity fluctuation in the LD beam is investigated using a transmitter-receiver system of the sub-THz radiation with two photoconductive antenas.
