海上保安大学校練習船「栗橋」の来歴 A History of the Japan Coast Guard Academy Tarining Ship Kurihashi 河本, 直紀 516 カワモト, ナオキ KAWAMOTO, Naoki 404 Kurihashi Herakles Neptun HelsingøR Japan Coast Guard Academy Abstract In this article we wish to describe a brief hostory of the training ship Kurihashi of more than 57 years. She was built in Denmark in 1897 as a Swedish rescue ship for a Salvaging company, and purchased by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1905 during Russo-Japanese War. She could survive the Second World War, and after that served as the first training ship of Japan Coast Guard Academy.
