          <datacite:description descriptionType="Abstract">One of the most simple and effective ways of giving instructions to divers and preventing diving accidents is to transmit an audio signal directly in water.  In such a case, it is fundamentally important to grasp the sound field in an audio frequency range and the propagation pattern at actual shallow sea area.   In this study, we introduce the Parabolic Equation (PE) Method, which is an effective sound propagation analysis in the case of complex ocean environments like a coast shallow sea area, and we show the several numerical results by the PE method based on a simple analysis model.   Also, we indicate the depth dependences of sound pressure level obtaind in Kure Bay for each season, in summer and in winter, by calculationg the PE model with each season's sound profile.</datacite:description>
